Rockstar Games hat eine Neuveröffentlichung von Grand Theft Auto 3 für Smartphones und Tablets angekündigt. Die Version für mobile Geräte erscheint im Herbst 2011 zum Herunterladen. Sie bietet im Vergleich zum PC- und Konsolenoriginal von 2001 verbesserte Grafik.
